Note: Not all the releases in the "Operating System abandonware" collection are actually operating systems per definition. I need some help figuring out the differences. I would request some extra attention on these, since they differ somewhat from the non-alt versions I included. I would appreciate if the members told me if there is an error with a release, or if it's mislabeled or otherwise "bad". I have also added some requests to the collection, such as Microsoft Flight Simulator 95 ( mentioned here) and some other private requests I've got (OSX betas I had on my personal server for example). I might merge these into a single archive later on (any ideas people?). I have not added any tags telling if it's for DOS or Windows, just a language and a floppy tag for those releases that both has an ISO and floppy. I have not yet found a naming solution for these abandonwares that I am happy with, so expect some filename changes over time. I will deal with these releases eventually and re-dump them into a raw floppy dump format. I have not included any releases in foreign floppy image formats (such as HDK, TD0 etc). The point of abandonware is not for you to run pirated software, it's to preserve the software. All serials and cracks will be removed from all releases!. These are usually dumped floppies without any installers and mostly cracked and hacked versions. Note that I am not adding any "warezed" releases such as the various DOS collections leaked on the net. If you really happen to have the real floppies or images of those then please upload them and put a note with them that they are originals and I will update the archives. I can't guarantee they all are 100% original, I had to re-create some floppies based on original installation scripts etc, but those are as close as you can get to the real deal. Keep in mind that all these abandonware releases are installation floppies (and some CD-ROM ISO:s). Due to the size of this release it will be split into separate releases. I will also add a small console beta collection, at the moment it's very small, but it will grow over time. Well, happy times! While waiting for the new drive to come online I've decided to release a small portion of my abandonware collection along with the > previously mentioned Mac update<.
